Porkulus Day 12
Snow.
How much snow? Not enough to cancel the global warming march down in la-la land. Shame, really. Still, I suppose you need to have goals.
Did you know that today is Pulaski Day in Illinois? Well, it is. I think if you own a horse, you’re expected to saddle’m up and try and take out a British dude or two. Remember, don’t shoot until you can see the whites of their eyes.
OBTW: not feeling stimulated. Not even the weekend speech by Rush cheered me up. (and, yes, I do have C-SPAN on in my bookmarks–maybe that is part of the problem) I also see where NJ.com a “guest blog” column with ex-governers Kean and Byrne. If this is the best thinking by ex-leaders of NJ, we’re fucked. Mr. “NJ and You Perfect Together” suggested Corzine try to emulate some of the things that Barry is doing down in DC. Wrong. Maybe use it as a bad example, but don’t try any of them. Byrne is automatically ignored because his administration instituted the state income tax “for the children”… and by children I mean the teacher’s unions.
Crap, now I feel even less stimulated. I wish I could remember where I left my happy place…
